Anita has been working as a Speech Pathologist consistently since 1978. She has extensive experience within public schools, Long Term Care, and Private Speech Clinics. Her absolute joy is working with children with various speech disorders. As such, she enjoys attending ASHA Conferences, (American Speech-Hearing Association Conferences) typically as often as her funds will allow. Anita also earned certification as a Qualified Oral-Facial Myologist recently, QOM. She has been an ASHA ACE AWARDEE for multiple years, [2012,15,18,19, and 2021]. This award is given for demonstrating a commitment to lifelong learning with continuing education in the field of Speech Pathology. She holds active licenses in 2 states, Texas and Indiana. Her pride and joy involve her family of 2 adult daughters, Brittany, and Shelby, and most recently a new grandson, Hayes.
