Alison Kelly received her Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M in Community Health and her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2017. She regularly works with children with sensory processing disorders, ADHD/ADD, Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, genetic disorders, and developmental delay. Alison has completed continuing education courses including Integration Listening System (iLs) and Handwriting Without Tears and has received certifications in Neuro-developmental Treatment (CNDT) and Ayers Sensory Integration (CASI). She actively seeks out continuing education courses and aims to pursue more certifications in the near future including the DIRFloortime approach.
Alison has a sibling with Autism and saw firsthand the impact that early intervention and occupational therapy have on helping someone reach their fullest potential.
Alison was born in New Jersey and moved to Kingwood, TX in 2000. She currently lives in the Heights with her husband and three dogs. Alison enjoys watching musicals at the Hobby Center, playing board games, reading, and yoga. She and her husband enjoy traveling to different cities and countries to celebrate New Year in and aspire to visit all of America’s National Parks.
